I expect Borderlands 3 will continue to have events and such and be as live service-y as it can be, but I would not be surprised if the Director’s Cut is the last bit of large paid DLC for the game. Gearbox Software has released a new hotfix for Borderlands 3 and it’s live now The Borderlands 3 update 1.15 July 23 patch might be called a hotfix, but you’ll still need to download it. The theory, not confirmed by Gearbox yet, is that they are already working on a next-gen Borderlands 4, not taking a long gap in between games this time around like they did between Borderlands 2 and 3, so it’s possible that’s the priority now.
